Taking the “F” out of staffing

By now, you know what a virtual assistant is, (and if you don’t check our page and previous blog for more information) so let us tell you how a Virtual Assistant can help your staffing agency to make your life easier. The ultimate goal is to make the recruiting process quicker and more efficient for all parties involved.

The recruiting process isn’t easy, it hasn’t ever been, and probably never will be. Which is why we want to help you. On average, for every 25 applications, only 1 person is hired. Think about that ratio, objectively that is only 4%. That is not a great rate. But it doesn’t stop there. As recruiters, you build relationships with your clients, you get to know the nitty gritty details, like environment, culture, and position specifics so you have a pretty good idea on everything a candidate needs to have to be successful.

What if I told you that we could make this process easier for you? We can save you time and maximize efficiency, so you can make sure that the clients you staff for have the candidates who are most likely to succeed, to also keep the relationship solid, and reflect that they made the right decision in working with you.

So how do we save you time and make things easier?

Let's add some numbers into the mix. Say you have 15 jobs posted in a week, and each job gets 10-15 applications. 10 to 15 jobs for one position doesn’t seem like a lot, but when you have 15 of those jobs that’s 150 to 225 applications. A virtual assistant can sort through every single resume and candidate and filter them out to the liking of the recruiter. If you want very specific requirements, that is what we look for. Whatever you want, we live up to your standards.

You set the task and we complete it. We can manage your Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Website job board, and any other tool you are using to source candidates. Once given parameters on who would be a good fit for each position we go to work. Scanning all the resumes that come in and forwarding over the ones worth interviewing. We will also handle all communication with the potential candidates to schedule the interview. Your recruiter then receives a calendar invite for the interview with all the info they need. By streamlining this process interviews are scheduled and openings are filled much more efficiently.

Scheduling interviews

Let’s go back to the numbers. Let's say you get 3 to 4 qualified candidates for the 15 jobs you posted. We are now looking at 45 to 60 interviews. According to the most recent studies, a first round interview could be anywhere from 20 minutes to 45, or even more. That is a lot of time in interviews. Which is why you should let us, your very own professional (and great time management skills thank you very much) VA, vet and schedule the right candidates for you. We can sort through your applicants, get them down to the most qualified candidates, and schedule their interviews with you. All you need to do is check your schedule and see when you need to be there, so you can focus on all the other needs recruiting has.

Why do this

Aside from the obvious reasons to do this, like we previously discussed, (literally… last paragraph, keep up) there are still more reasons to utilize Virtical, so you can see the full benefits to using us. Time and cost are the heavy hitters but it goes even beyond that. Since the VA’s are taking away some of the responsibilities of the recruiters, you now have more time for more interviews, preparing yourself for interviews, canvassing for candidates, creating compelling job postings, sourcing new clients, and so much more. In short, it gives you time to be more efficient. And more efficiency means more work done, and more work done means more money. Yeah, we told you we get sh*t done.

The cost of us to do something like this vs hiring someone else specifically to do this job, well lets just say we save you money. And with all this newfound efficiency and time, the money it costs for our services and the money you make off of the new system… It's kind of a no brainer. But talk is one thing, and actions are another, we succeed when you succeed, so you know we’ll do it right, for the both of us.
